brand identity and environmental graphic design

Kindred Healthcare and the University of Louisville formed a partnership that would provide both internship opportunities for computer engineering students and a talent pipeline for Kindred recruiting. Kindred set out to develop a space adjacent to UofL’s campus with a more modern, relaxed vibe than the traditional corporate cube-farm. The project started with name development. The chosen option was inspired by the team’s “swarming” (part of Scrum project management) to advance software development projects. Once the name was established, the project moved forward to branding, environmental graphics, tons of student swag, and even coordinating with the interior design to ensure furniture and finishes fit with the brand.
