Kindred Healthcare and the University of Louisville formed a partnership that would provide both internship opportunities for tech students and a talent pipeline for Kindred. The project was to transform a boring, concrete block building adjacent to UofL’s campus into a modern workspace with a relaxed vibe and focus on collaboration. We kicked off with name development, focusing on the team’s use of Scrum project management and “swarming.” Once the name was established, the project moved forward to branding, environmental graphics, tons of student swag, and coordinating with the interior design lead to ensure furniture and finishes fit with the brand.
